Kombi Split 50->67 parts

Kombi Split 50->67 parts

Successor of the concept "Plattenwagen", commercial vehicle with front chain ring on base of Beetle, imagined by Volkswagen workers, the Combi came out in 1949 on the site of Wolfsburg in Germany. Equipped with the small Aircooled 1100cc engine with 24hp of the Beetle and with a free-standing car body, it was quickly nicknamed "Bulli". The Combi Split of Volkswagen rapidly achieved great success and was developed in various car bodies in order to get used to every demands. Like so it took on as many names as the number of variants: Bus Samba, Pick-up, double cabin, Westfalia… So much that in 1962, the millionth VW Combi left the factory of Hanover. It was in 1967 when the Combi first generation left and gave way to the Bay Window.
