For Golf 5 including Golf 5 Plus with original Garrett fitment:
- 2.0 TDi 140hp (BMM)

Certain precautions must be taken when replacing a Turbo:
- It is essential to clean the oil system to eliminate any residue that may obstruct the circuit
- The oil and oil filter must be replaced
- Oil intake and return ducts must be inspected and cleaned
- Air hoses and breathers must also be checked
- Using a syringe, fill the turbo to the brim with oil via the turbo oil spout, then prime the turbine by hand.
- Once the turbo has been mounted, start the engine and let it idle for around 10 minutes. Before stopping the
engine, let it idle for a few seconds (do not accelerate sharply before stopping)
