Details about : Heater fan for VW Golf 2 and Jetta 2

Also known as an air blower, the electric cabin fan is located in the dashboard of your Volkswagen Golf 2 or Jetta 2. For non-air-conditioned models with left-hand steering.

It can be easily dismantled by removing the cover/pocket under the dashboard on the passenger side.

The heater fan takes its air from above the partition between the engine and the passenger compartment and distributes it inside the car.

Combined with the heater radiator, it also defrosts and demists the windscreen. An essential element for enjoying your Volkswagen Golf or Jetta mk2 in any season!

You'll need to collect the resistor from your old fan, or add it to your basket when you order.

It's true to the original, and delivers smoothly and evenly. Mine was 35 years old, had taken on coolant and squeaked a bit, not to mention being slightly inefficient. Now it's smooth and efficient. It's a Topran, so we'll see about durability, as I don't use it very often. On the other hand, I broke the retaining lug on the electronic circuit board when I tried to fit it (it resisted), but I tinkered to replace it, and it's perfect.
