1 Hood lock handle to Golf 1 Cabriolet

Left or right soft top closing handle complete with safety system and locking hook for Volkswagen Golf 1 Cabriolet :

Supplied with hook so that the complete handle can be fitted without modification in just a few minutes on all models of all years on the right-hand passenger side or left-hand driver side.

INFORMATION: The hook thread (M8x1.25 before 1988 and M8x1 after 1988) is only important when the handle is sold without the hook, or when only the hook has to be replaced. In this case, the hook is supplied with the handle, so you don't have to worry about the thread. However, for post-1988 models, you won't be able to reuse your old M8x1 hooks, as this handle has a thread for its own M8x1.25 hook.

An important safety feature, the handles lock the soft top in the closed position to prevent it flying off at the first gust of wind.
