51 23 8 202 688 : Front bonnet strut for BMW Series 3 E46 (except M3)

This front bonnet strut is designed to replace a worn or defective component on the BMW Series 3 E46, with the exception of the M3 version. It features a total length of 316 mm, a piston stroke of 120 mm and a pressure of 580 N, guaranteeing correct retention of the bonnet in the open position. As part of the restoration or maintenance of a classic BMW Series 3 E46, it is recommended to replace both struts simultaneously to ensure perfect balance and avoid asymmetrical stress on the bonnet. Sold individually, two parts are therefore necessary for a complete replacement.
