Mounting foot adapter for Beetle and Karmann mirror before 1967

This mounting foot adapter is designed to allow the installation of a rectangular-type mirror, from series after July 1967, on a Volkswagen Beetle or Karmann manufactured before that date. Its internal thread pitch corresponds to the large screw present on more recent mirrors of these models, thus replacing the threaded hole that appeared on doors from 1968 onwards. Fixation to the bodywork is carried out by drilling three small holes; the kit includes the base gasket and the three screws necessary for installation. A solution suited to enthusiasts wishing to restore or keep their classic vehicle in working order whilst benefiting from functional equipment.
