Brake caliper silentbloc (diabolo) for Citroën ID from 1965.

This silentbloc, commonly known as a "diabolo", is fitted to the front brake caliper of Citroën IDs produced from 1965 onwards. It acts as a flexible link between the caliper and its support, limiting the transmission of vibrations and noise generated during braking.

Over time, exposure to dust, grease, humidity and temperature variations can cause the silentbloc to harden, crack or even break.

A worn diabolo can lead to unpleasant noises, play in the caliper and loss of braking efficiency. Replacing it guarantees comfort, safety and respect for the original mechanics.

We recommend changing all 4 diabolos for optimum performance.
