This left front brake caliper GIRLING reconditioned is intended for the Renault Super 5 Société, in its S400 versions (C1C engine, 956 cm³, 42 hp, from January 1985 to August 1990) and S401 (C1E engine, 1108 cm³, 47 hp, from January 1985 to August 1990). It is made of cast iron with a piston diameter of 45 mm, and the reconditioning includes complete disassembly, cleaning, micro-shot blasting, surface treatment and replacement of all components except the casting body, pistons included. Before installation, it is advisable to check the original mounting of your braking system — Bendix or Girling — to confirm compatibility with the shape and material of the caliper in place. This part makes it possible to restore braking compliant with the original on your classic vehicle.
