This small underbody suspension pot in stainless steel is of superior quality to the original.

This crucial component of the 2CV's unique suspension system is highly exposed to corrosion, so this suspension pot has an all stainless steel body.

With a diameter of 110 mm, it is suitable for 2CV and Dyanes sedans as well as Meharis. The heavier Vans and AMI 6 and 8 benefit from larger diameter pots.

This complete suspension pot is fitted with a stainless steel housing.

Maintenance advice:

- Specific tools are required to adjust travel and ride height. A 46" wrench for adjusting the hexagonal nuts on the adjusting spigots, and a hexagonal socket for adjusting the tie-rod spigots.

- Correct lubrication is vital to the smooth operation of the suspension pot. Oil is preferable to grease that is too thick. The inner springs will tend to repel thick grease at the ends of the pot, causing a very unpleasant squeaking noise.

- meticulous installation of a grease nipple on the upper outer quarter of the suspension housing will facilitate maintenance of the suspension pot's internal greasing.
