For mounting the awning in the original plastic rail of the VW CALIFORNIA; this rail tends to be wider. In this case, it is preferable to double the original hem of the awning, adding an additional 5 mm hem, which can be slid into the rail at the same time as the awning or sewn directly onto the 7 mm hem of the awning.
