This brake hose on gearbox for 2CV in 4.5mm is compatible with assemblies requiring a 9 wrench, and was only used on 2CV sedans for 6 months at the launch of 2CV4 and 2CV6 . It succeeded to the intermediate assembly using banjos for the front brakes, and was replaced from June 1970 by a complete system in 3.5mm and key of 8. Caution!! your vehicle could have been modified, check the diameter of the wheel cylinder and the key necessary to tighten the ends of the brake hoses.


Use only DOT4 or DOT5 brake fluid.
