Fuel tank gauge for BMW E9 Coupé with carburetors (08/1969-11/1975) - 252mm

Original type tank fuel gauge for BMW E9 Coupé from 08/1969 to 11/1975:

- 2800CS 170hp from 08/1969 to 03/1971 (engine code M06)
- 3.0CS 180hp from 04/1971 to 11/1975 (engine code M21)
- 3.0CSL 180hp from 04/1971 to 08/1972 (engine code M21)

Comes with O-ring.

This fuel gauge transmitter is designed for engines with 2 Zenith 35/40 INAT damper carburettors with automatic choke, 70L tank and 252 mm gauge.

CAUTION: Not suitable for 2800CS with 55L tank produced from 12/1968 to 07/1969!

For the gauge to work, you must remove the clip or the sticker from the cylinder during assembly, this frees up a small lug which is blocked for transport.

Its replacement is essential when restoring the fuel circuit and/or when replacing the tank.
