7M0 121 425 A : Rubber mounting bush

The rubber mounting bush is a connecting and damping component used to ensure flexible fixing of certain mechanical or body elements, whilst absorbing vibrations and shocks. Its replacement is often necessary during the restoration or maintenance of a classic vehicle, as rubber ageing leads to progressive loss of effectiveness. Using a new component allows the original characteristics to be restored in terms of handling and insulation. Careful work on this type of component helps to preserve the overall behaviour of the vehicle in keeping with its period design.
