Upper left door hinge mounting plate for Citroën 2CV AZ-AZAM

This upper left door hinge mounting plate is intended for Citroën 2CV AZ and AZAM produced from December 1964, in their saloon and van versions. Located at the top of the roof panel, it incorporates threaded inserts allowing the fixing of door hinges and allows targeted repair without replacement of the entire panel. In the context of restoring a collection 2CV, it allows for correct door geometry to be restored when the original part is worn, corroded or deformed. A solution suited to careful bodywork repairs on this iconic model.
