Left front rocker panel in metal for BMW 5 Series E12 and E28 Sedan 4-door models :

The left sill panel is supplied bare or with black storage primer depending on our suppliers' delivery. Before final painting, it is essential to treat and prepare it to prevent corrosion from reappearing.

This outer section of the lower door panel to be welded is called "aftermarket" as it does not come from the original manufacturer.
