Rubber / Insulation seal for wide body mouldings for the VW Beetle (Nov 1957–Jul 1966), Karmann Ghia and Type 3 – 50 pieces

These rubber seals fit perfectly between the wide metal trim strips and the bodywork of your Beetle. Essential for a perfect original look, they ensure a neat finish, prevent direct metal-on-metal contact and stop corrosion under the trim strips.

Suitable for all VW Beetle models up to July 1966, Karmann Ghia and Type 3 models fitted with wide trims with a 7mm diameter body hole .

To preserve the rubber’s flexibility and make it easier to slide the wide trim strip into place, you can apply a light coat of neutral grease during fitting. We do not recommend using silicone, as it leaves a film on the bodywork which may cause problems for any subsequent bodywork repairs.

Check: Ensure that the profile fits perfectly against the inner shoulder of your wide trims before clipping them onto the bodywork clips.
