models with 5-speedmanual gearbox with linkages
- 1.8 petrol
- 1.9 Diesel & turbo-Diesel
- 2.0 petrol GTI 8S
(except: TDI, GTI 16S & VR6 with cable-operatedsystem). A lot of play can interfere with gear shifting.
