211 957 801 E: Speedometer cable

The speedometer cable ensures mechanical transmission of the gearbox rotation to the odometer located on the dashboard. On a classic vehicle, this component is often weakened by time, dryness or sheath fatigue, causing needle oscillations or a complete absence of display. Replacement with a new part restores reliable operation and originality. An accessible intervention that contributes to the careful restoration of a vintage vehicle.
