Wheel-side transmission seal for Citroën DS.

This seal, positioned in the groove of the wheel hub, is traversed by the transmission shaft. It plays an essential role in ensuring the seal between the hub and the shaft, preventing any lubricant leakage or intrusion of contaminants.

This assembly is specific to OE driveshafts. It is not required for Rzeppa replacement shafts, whose design makes this seal superfluous.
