This water hose connects the radiator to the thermostat housing on the BMW Series 3 E46 fitted with the M47 diesel engine, in the 318d and 320d versions in Saloon and Touring body styles. It is part of the cooling circuit and ensures proper circulation of coolant between these two components. When restoring or servicing a classic BMW Series 3 E46, replacement of this hose is recommended as soon as a leak, softening or crack appears in the rubber. This new part restores a reliable cooling circuit that conforms to original specification.
