Product description

The WEBER 32 / 34DMTL twin-barrel progressive carburetor is more reliable and more efficient than the original Pierburg 2E2 (2E).

It is compatible with Volkswagen Golf 1 Cabriolet equipped with 1.6L 72hp code RE (non-catalyzed) and 1.6L 75hp code EW (catalyzed) engines , as well as Caddy 1.6 75hp code EW (catalyzed), from 1983 to 1993 with manual gearbox only.

This version with manual choke makes it possible to forget the vagaries of the automatic choke, which no longer activates or constantly enriches the mixture. It's the perfect way to make sure you pass your next roadworthiness test so you can enjoy the warm weather!

In addition to the twin-barrel carburetor, this complete kit includes an adapter plate for the original intake manifold, plus all the gaskets and nuts and bolts required for installation.

Bonjour à tous et Grand MERCI.... Un grand merci pour m'avoir conseillé de remplacer le carbu x2 corps d'origine avec starter auto par un 2xcorps Weber start manu.... c'est un vrai régal Je ne reconnais plus ma Golf 2 de 01.1990 90hp 1.8l.

Bonjour, je voulais savoir s'il était possible de l'installer sur un moteur 1.3L (MH) J'ai un carbu Pierburg 2E actuellement et il faudrait que je le change, j'ai pas trop envie de mettre 1600€ dans un nouveau carbu. Merci beaucoup.

impossible de trouver sur le site ou laisser un avis, ... alors je poste ici : J'ai acheté ce kit pour mon caddy 1.6.... et ... je n'ai qu'une chose a dire : Kit super bien fait, tres tres tres belle qualité, .... tres complet... Notice super detaillée

Per anni ho avuto a che fare con i problemi causati dal Pierburg 2E. L'impossibilità di trovare un esperto di revisione di carburatori ha aggravato il problema. Quasi non usavo più la mia Golf Cabriolet del 1991 per i consumi e le difficoltà di riscaldamento del motore. Ho scritto a Mecatechnic per avere il codice di riferimento prodotto corretto. Il carburatore è arrivato in tempo, semplice da montare. La macchina va che è una meraviglia, tiene correttamente il minimo anche a freddo e i consumi si sono ridotti tantissimo.
