Intake pipe seal – 027 129 717 D

This ultra-thin flat gasket (1 mm thick, 30 g) ensures a seal at the junction between the intake manifold, the air flow meter and the air filter on the 1.8L KR (GTI/16V) and PL engines of the A2/A3 platform; any leak at this point causes unwanted air intake, which skews the flow meter’s reading and impairs engine management; this makes it a key component when refurbishing the intake system on sports models from 1984 to 1995.
