This left front brake caliper is an original cast aluminium part. It has been refurbished in strict compliance with the original by our partner.

Return and refund conditions for returnable parts

Your old part must be returned in the same box as the one you are about to receive. Simply stick the postal return label, pre-addressed to MECATECHNIC, that you will receive with your reconditioned caliper and send it back to us. This will speed up the processing and reimbursement of your deposit.

Please ensure that you comply with the following conditions when returning your deposit:

- The returned caliper must correspond exactly to the one originally fitted on the vehicle and be clearly identifiable by its part number and SDO.

- It must be drained of all brake fluid and be complete, with no peripheral parts. No hoses, no parts from the running gear (steering knuckles, connecting rods, etc.).

- The bolts, clips, connection screws and bleed screws must be present in the package.

- The cast iron of the returned caliper must not have undergone excessive corrosion, must not have been machined or drilled, and must not be broken or show any visible cracks.

- Each stirrup will be checked individually on three occasions: on receipt of the order by MECATECHNIC before dispatch to our partner, on receipt by our partner before cleaning and repackaging (NB: During the galvanising process, major defects (micro-cracks) may appear which were previously undetectable. Our customer service department will contact you to find the best solution).

Only stirrups meeting the above-mentioned reconditioning requirements can be reconditioned and will be credited. The inspection of your caliper takes 6 to 8 weeks from the time MECATECHNIC receives the consignment. We will inform you by e-mail of the results of the successive checks and whether or not the deposit paid will be refunded.
