A worn rod can impair smooth gear changes, it is advisable to change it at the same time as the clutch push rod.

- 1.8 75hp (AAM, ANN), 90hp (ADZ, ANP)
- 2.0 115hp (AGG, AKR, ATU, AWG, AWF) A worn rod can interfere with gear shifting, and should be replaced at the same time as the clutch release bearing.
