Stainless steel DANSK exhaust silencer with black tip for Porsche 944 Turbo from 1986 to 1991 :
- 944 2.5 Turbo - 220hp (M44.50/M44.51) from 1986 to 1988
- 944 2.5 Turbo S/Cup M578 - 250hp (M44.52) from 1988
- 944 2.5 Turbo - 250hp (M44.52) from 1989 to 1991
This silencer has been designed with two types of stainless steel.
AISI 304 stainless steel, composed of iron, carbon, chromium and nickel, is renowned for its longevity.
And AISI 409 stainless steel is known for its high resistance to corrosion.
