03G 131 501 N: EGR valve for Audi A3 (8P)

The EGR valve regulates the recirculation of exhaust gases back into the engine inlet, thereby contributing to the control of nitrogen oxide emissions. On the Audi A3 (8P), this component is subject to progressive deposits which can cause unstable idle, loss of power or illumination of the engine warning light. Replacement with a new part restores compliant engine operation and preserves the mechanics of this model as part of a restoration or thorough maintenance programme. A useful intervention to keep the Audi A3 (8P) in a condition consistent with the requirements of a classic vehicle.
