Electric power steering for VOLKSWAGEN Transporter T25/T3 (05/1979-07/1992)

This kit includes a complete steering column to replace the original one, an electronic box, various sensors and assembly instructions.

The new column is equipped with an electric motor that assists rotation movements, the same system found on some modern new vehicles.

An electronic box controls the degree of assistance to be provided according to engine speed and vehicle speed, with electric assistance decreasing as speed increases.

In the event of a power failure or low battery, such as when the ignition is switched off, "conventional" steering remains 100% functional: you drive in complete safety!

The steering box, linkages and pivots must be in good working order, and the kit does not make up for any play in the steering. The new column is connected to the original steering wheel and box, without any modification to the vehicle, neither cutting nor welding.
