EMPI Centrifugal ignition distributor type 009 for Porsche 914-4 (1970-1976)

EMPI type 009 centrifugal igniter for Porsche 914-4 :

- 914-4 1.7 - 80 hp (022-W) from 1970 to 1973
- 914-4 1.7 - 80 hp (022-EA) from 1972 to 1973
- 914-4 1.7 - 72 hp (022-EB) from 1972 to 1973
- 914-4 1.8 - 85 hp (021-AN) from 1974 to 1976
- 914-4 1.8 - 76 hp (022-EC) from 1974 to 1976

This igniter incorporates the specific features of the BOSCH 009 igniter with centrifugal advance system (without vacuum capsule).

- Static setting between 7.5 and 10° in advance at idle speed depending on the type of engine and vehicle.
- Total advance curve up to 24°
- A slight delay is applied to cylinder N°3 compared to the other cylinders in order to limit overheating of cylinder N°3, a slight delay is applied to it

This igniter is suitable for most original and prepared engines.
