This complete set of tapered roller bearings ensures smooth and precise guidance of your front wheel on the steering knuckle. Specially designed for drum or disc brake steering knuckles on VW Type 3 models from June 1968 onwards, it is an excellent replacement for worn, pitted or noisy bearings. It reduces friction, eliminates excessive play in the steering and ensures optimum safety whilst driving.

Complete bearing kit for 1 front wheel with drum or disc brakes:

Inner tapered roller bearing, outer tapered roller bearing, oil seal

Bearings must be greased during fitting.

Check: Before fitting, check the diameter of your steering knuckles and ensure that the bearing contact surface shows no signs of seizing or blue discolouration caused by overheating.

The steering knuckle nut, hub cap and pin supplied in the kit are not suitable for Type 3.

Small bearing diameters:

- internal: 17 mm

- outer: 40 mm

Dimensions of the large bearing:

- internal: 29 mm

- outer: 50 mm
