This part is a low cost replacement for the original intermediate muffler welded in one piece to the original catalyst.
You simply cut the line at the catalyst outlet and snap this part on.
It then connects to the rear muffler as original

Also compatible with the MX13646 catalyst to replace your complete intermediate line.
