Left door gasket kit with opening deflector for VOLKSWAGEN Combi Bay Window (08/1967-07/1979)

A door gasket kit is essential to ensure the sealing and comfort of your vehicle, notably by preventing moisture, cold air, dust and external noise from entering the passenger compartment, while providing better thermal and acoustic insulation. Before installing the new gaskets, thoroughly clean the area where the new gaskets will be installed to remove any dirt or residues of old adhesive.

Once the seals have been installed, close the doors and check for air or water leaks. Also check that the door closes properly without forcing, and that the seal provides even pressure against the body.

If necessary, adjust the seals to ensure that they are correctly positioned.

When replacing the front door seals, take the opportunity to inspect the vehicle's other seals, such as those on the windows, tailgate or trunk. Replacing worn gaskets will improve the overall tightness of the vehicle.

Opt for good-quality gaskets to guarantee long life and good performance. Original gaskets or gaskets of equivalent quality are often more resistant to weathering and offer better soundproofing: genuine VW parts.

This kit does not include the U-joint between the deflector glass and the curved rail.
