A sliding door that is difficult to operate or gets stuck in the top rail is often caused by a metal roller that has seized up or become flattened due to wear and tear. Take the opportunity when replacing the roller to degrease the top rail and apply a clean lithium grease.

This metal guide roller fits onto the upper arm of the sliding door mechanism. Subject to heavy stress during repeated opening and closing, the original roller eventually seizes up, becomes scored or wears out, causing the door to jam and leaving scratches on the upper body rail. This high-strength metal replacement roller restores the door’s correct alignment and ensures effortless operation.

Suitable for the Volkswagen Combi Bay Window from 08/1967 to 07/1979.

Check: After fitting the new roller to the upper arm shaft, check that it turns freely by hand without any resistance before re-engaging the door in the body rail.
