202 545 01 04 : Starter contactor for Mercedes W124

The starter contactor is a component located behind the steering column lock on the Mercedes W124, C124 and S124. It ensures switching of electrical contacts according to key position: off, on or start. A faulty contactor can cause intermittent contact and be confused with a starter failure, making it an essential part to check first when restoring or servicing these Mercedes classic cars. This 7-pin aluminium contactor, of German manufacture, provides a reliable replacement to restore your vehicle to original electrical performance.
