Castle nut for tightening the drum onto the left or right rear hub. The rear bearings are tightened to 30 M.kg, it is imperative to respect this tightening torque and to insert the split pin! Indeed, the rolling direction of the left rear wheel being in the direction of loosening the nut, the latter could unscrew when the vehicle moves forward and a forgotten split pin would result in a possible loss of the left rear wheel and a danger to the driver, passengers and other road users.
