This castle nut ensures the tightening of the drum on the left or right rear hub of the Volkswagen Transporter T25/T3 (from 05/1979 to 07/1992). The rear bearings must be tightened to 30 m.kg : it is imperative to respect this tightening torque and to install the split pin.
