ATTENTION: To stay true to the original, this badge is not suitable for the Golf 2 GTI 16S sold in France from 08/1987 to 10/1991 (in France, during this period, it was the elongated badge "GTI 16S", the writing of the "16S" being inclined)!

INFORMATION: This emblem was present on the grilles of GTI 16V models destined for foreign markets (Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, Netherlands...). For these same models, from 08/1985 to 07/1987, the "GTI 16V" logo is entirely on a black background.

This logo is clipped onto the front grille.
