11 31 1 716 986: Timing chain for BMW Series 5 E34

This timing chain is intended for the BMW Series 5 E34, specifically for saloon versions equipped with M30 engines, namely the 530i and 535i. In the context of restoring or servicing a classic vehicle, replacing the timing chain is an essential operation to ensure correct distribution synchronisation and preserve engine integrity. A stretched or failing chain can lead to serious mechanical problems, making this part critical for the reliability of the whole. Opting for a new adapted part allows you to restore the BMW E34 to its original capabilities.
