Spring blade, allows to hold the notched adjustment knobs of the brake shoes. It is an essential small part in the automatic adjustment mechanism of drum brakes. This spring blade is responsible for keeping the notched knob in position and ensuring that the adjustment mechanism works correctly to adjust the distance between the brake shoes and the drum.
