986 606 112 04 : Crankshaft position sensor for Porsche 997

This crankshaft position sensor is designed for the Porsche 911 type 997, covering the Carrera, Carrera 4, Carrera S, Carrera 4S, GT2 and Turbo variants of phase 1. As part of the restoration or maintenance of a classic vehicle, this component plays an essential role in engine management by transmitting the crankshaft position to the control unit. Its replacement is recommended as soon as signs of failure appear such as misfires, starting difficulties or irregular engine behaviour. Two sensors are required per vehicle.
