The claw rotor is an internal component of the alternator, responsible for generating the magnetic field necessary for electrical current production. On a Volkswagen Golf 2, this part is subject to progressive wear and can be the source of charging failures on older vehicles. As part of the restoration or maintenance of a classic Golf 2, its replacement allows you to restore a functional alternator without having to change the entire unit. It is a reliable solution for maintaining the original electrical system in good working order.
