UNIL OPAL OPALPERF GI-V5 15W50 motor oil has been designed to meet the requirements of the naturally-aspirated and turbocharged petrol and diesel engines found in modern cars.
Regular use of this high-performance mineral lubricant in engines with a tendency to consume excess oil can significantly reduce this phenomenon.

Thanks to its special molybdenum- and bismuth-based additives (safe for FAP after-treatment systems), the coefficient of friction of mechanical parts in contact is reduced by 15-50%, while anti-wear performance is improved by 14%.

pour mon utilisation dans le bateau les bidons de 5 litres sont plus pratiques que les 2 litres. L'huile 15w50 opal semble bien convenir à mes vieux diesel mercedes 240d OM616 de 6000 heures (correspondant à 400.000 km de voiture) moins de fumée moins de consommation d'huile. On va voir cet été en croisière avec des températures de 50°C dans la cale pendant plusieurs dizaines d'heures d'affilée, la 15W50 devrait mieux convenir que la 15W40.
