New Type 4 cylinder head 1.8 / 2.0 L engine for VOLKSWAGEN Combi Bay Window (08/1973-07/1978)

Type 4 engines have a specific design with a flat architecture, and the cylinder head plays a key role in fuel mixture and exhaust management, as well as engine cooling. Type 4 engines are more robust and powerful than Type 1 engines.

This new cylinder head for Type 4 1800 (AP) and 2000cc (CJ) engines fits VW Combi Bay Window from 08/1973 to 07/1978 carbureted version.

Valves, intake: 39.3 mm exhaust: 33 mm

Manufactured without hole for EGR gas cleaning system.

Not suitable for fuel-injected versions.

Model with exhaust outlet under oval, step-shaped cylinder head.
