The petrol range runs from the 258 hp N52B30 six-cylinder to the 445 hp N73B60 direct-injection V12, via four N62 V8s from 3.6 to 4.8 litres. The Common Rail diesels include the M57D30 six-cylinder of the 730d and the M67 V8s of the 740d and 745d, the latter reaching 329 hp and 750 Nm from 09/2006.
