Classic car windows: restore your glazing

An essential part of the bodywork, the glass contributes to the safety, comfort and aesthetics of your classic car. Over time, the glass may become scratched, cracked, cloudy or damaged following an impact. Replacing it restores good visibility whilst preserving the original appearance of your classic car.

Discover our selection of windows designed for the restoration and maintenance of classic cars. Depending on your vehicle and its specifications, find the right glass components for the various parts of the bodywork.

The different windows in your classic car

Car glazing is not limited to the windscreen. Several windows help to enclose the passenger compartment and ensure visibility for the driver and passengers.

• Door windows: these seal the sides of the passenger compartment and may be fixed or roll-down, depending on the model.
• Side windows: these are fitted in particular to the rear sections of the bodywork and help to preserve the vehicle’s original lines.
• Rear quarter windows: these side windows, usually situated behind the doors, often have a shape specific to each model.
• Airdeflectors: found on many classic cars, they allow air to circulate through the passenger compartment whilst minimising turbulence.

When should a classic car window be replaced?

A scratched, cracked or heavily marked window can reduce visibility and detract from the vehicle’s overall appearance. During a full restoration, replacing a damaged window also helps to achieve a more consistent finish with the seals, frames and other refurbished bodywork components.

Choosing the right window for your classic car

The shape, dimensions, tint and mounting system may vary depending on the make, model, year and version of the vehicle. It is therefore important to check the windscreen’s compatibility before fitting it. Discover our range of windscreens to restore your classic car whilst respecting its original style and features.
