The Paceman R61 table details nine versions, all built from 2013 to 2016 and fitted with chain-driven timing. Five run on petrol: the Cooper with the 122 hp N16B16, then the Cooper S and John Cooper Works with the turbocharged N18B16 and N18, up to 218 hp. The four diesels are based on the N47, from 112 hp for the Cooper D to 143 hp for the Cooper SD. Apart from the Cooper, every trim level also comes as an all-wheel-drive ALL4: adding this label to the engine code avoids ordering mistakes.
