This product cannot be used on deteriorated rims and/or rims with chipped or missing varnish.

Autoglym Clean Wheels is a powerful, fast-acting formula that removes corrosive brake dust and road grime. Suitable for painted alloy wheels and painted plastic hubcaps.
As the formula contains acid, do not use on wheels with flaking varnish, or on unvarnished wheels.
Do not use on chrome, anodized or polished aluminum rims.
Always test on a small area first.

Acid formula developed specifically for polished and chrome-plated aluminium rims or non-anodised aluminium rims. Do not use it on painted aluminium; there is another cleaner for this purpose (see below). This cleaner removes encrusted dirt from the rims almost without scrubbing. This powerful rim cleaner easily eliminates all brake pad residue, dust and grease. It also prevents rims getting dirty again so quickly.
