This piston ring set is designed for 77 mm pistons with thicknesses of 2, 2 and 4 mm, suited to 1200 cc and 1300 cc engines fitted to several classic Volkswagen models. It is compatible with the Volkswagen Beetle, Volkswagen Beetle Cabriolet, Volkswagen Karmann Ghia, Volkswagen Combi Split, Volkswagen Combi Bay Window, Volkswagen Buggy as well as Volkswagen Type 3 and Type 4. As part of the restoration of one of these iconic vehicles, replacing worn or damaged piston rings is a key step in restoring proper compression and preserving engine durability.
