This reconditioned Solex 28 PICT carburettor is designed to replace a worn or faulty component on the Volkswagen Beetle, Volkswagen Combi Split or Volkswagen Karmann Ghia equipped with a Type 1 engine with 6 volt dynamo. This is a reconditioned part sold on an exchange basis, which requires the return of the complete old Solex Germany type carburettor. As part of a restoration or careful maintenance of these Volkswagen classics, it is recommended to pair it with an original ignition distributor and to check for the presence of the accelerator return spring at the turbine outlet.
