Speedometer pinion 38 teeth for BMW Series 3 E30

On the BMW Series 3 E30, the speedometer is driven by a small plastic pinion which, over time, can wear, crack or lose some of its teeth. This malfunction results in a needle stuck at zero, intermittent display or mileage that ceases to increment correctly. This replacement pinion has a large diameter of 38 teeth and a small diameter of 23 teeth; it is compatible with all body styles of the Series 3 E30 — saloon, touring, Baur, coupé and cabriolet, including the sports version M3 E30.
