On the petrol side, the F10/F11 5 Series (2010–2017) combines the N20B20 turbo four-cylinder of the 520i and 528i with the N53 and N55 six-cylinders, the twin-turbo N63B44 V8 of the 550i and the 560 hp S63B44TÜ of the M5. The Common Rail diesels range from the 143 hp 518d to the M550d and its 381 hp triple-turbo N57S, via the N57D30 of the 525d, 530d and 535d. These twelve engines do not all share the same parts: identify yours before ordering.
